Introduction
Overnight, jobs vanished, entire programmes collapsed, and the communities you’ve spent years serving are now left without support. This isn’t just a career crisis; it’s a seismic shift, leaving you grappling with loss, uncertainty, and the gut-wrenching question: What now?
You’re not just facing job uncertainty but also a loss of professional identity, questioning what’s next, and trying to find a way forward.
You’ve dedicated years—maybe decades—to this work. And now, with hiring slowdowns and a flood of talented professionals re-entering the job market, you’re left navigating overwhelming questions:
What does this mean for my career?
How do I move forward without making a fear-based decision?
Can I stay in this field, or do I need to pivot?
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
This 14-day structured experience helps you regain control, reposition yourself, and take strategic action—without the exhaustion of doing it all at once and alone.
Through structured modules that include a mix of coaching, resilience building and practical strategies, peer-to-peer discussions and temporary community space, you’ll get the tools to navigate the immediate career challenge and long-term uncertainty while staying true to your skills and values.
“A huge thank you Simone (as well as the community). It has been more helpful than I could have imagined.”
Participant, March 2025 cohort “Your Career Reset”
Why am I offering this?
Hi, I’m Simone Anzboeck. I coach global professionals in social impact to design a work-life they love and make it possible. Before coaching, I worked in global development for 15 years.
A few years ago, my world shifted beneath me. It wasn’t as sudden, but it was deeply disorienting. I felt like everything I had built was unravelling, and I didn’t know my way forward. (read that story)
I realized—too late—that I needed support.
Your situation may be different, but if you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or even grieving the loss of your role, I understand. Although I can’t be certain what you’re feeling right now, I’m pretty sure it’s stressful, upsetting and bringing up other emotions.
Meanwhile, you’re now facing a ticking clock you never asked for or expected - certainly not so abruptly.
What if, instead of spinning your wheels, you could find direction in just 10 days?
I can help. This is why I’ve created this programme.
Who is this for?
This is for you if you are a professional in global development and social impact and you are:
Are facing job uncertainty due to the hiring slowdowns, and shifting funding trends.
Feel the loss of their identity after years of dedicated impact work.
Need practical steps to secure a new role or reposition themselves.
Want to act without burning out—balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy.
You might be feeling:
Overwhelmed - the ground has shifted beneath you, and you’re unsure where to step next.
Sad and uncertain about it all.
Exhausted and drained by the uncertainty, the frenzy on LinkedIn or the news.
This space offers clarity, camaraderie, and momentum —so you can move forward with confidence.
This is not the right space for you, if:
You expect to land a job after 14 days - this programme is about increasing your odds, thinking strategically and making informed and confident moves. You’ll walk away with new insights, tools you can use, a new perspective and a plan - not just short-term job search tips.
You’re looking for long-term coaching and mentorship - this is a focused 14-day “sprint”, not an ongoing programme.
You need 1:1 coaching and individual advice – this is an affordable offer to help you focus on what matters now. If you want personal support, please check my other services.
“I have really appreciated the course. I have learned so much from the others on the call. The programme has provided focused time for reflection, which is partly why I signed up - I avoid reflection on my own. It has also helped me name some beliefs and ways in which I function in the work world.”
Participant, March 2025 cohort “Your Career Reset”
You may request a full refund if you email me at simone@simoneanzboeck.com before the end of the day (PST) on Tuesday, 8 April, after the programme kick-off and reviewing Module 1. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided after this deadline. Please take your time and consider your purchase carefully.
What do you get?
The programme includes a mix of coaching, mindset and resilience-building best practices, practical career strategies, peer-to-peer discussions and community space:
A structured, 14-day experience to help you get on the front foot. A space to adjust your professional identity without giving up on your values.
Strategies to reposition yourself in a shifting job market, incl. practical guidance on CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and personal branding.
A scientifically proven coaching approach to help you build a toolkit for flexibility, resilience and performance.
A supportive community (on Slack) of peers facing similar challenges.
By the end of the 14 days, you’ll:
Know what to focus on in the short term and where to start.
Develop your system and structured plan for the next month that helps you focus.
Built your resilience toolkit that you can fall back on in times of overwhelm.
Have tools, frameworks and new ideas you have started applying (and continue to work with after the 14 days).
Have found peers who support each other.
“The events are always informative and inspiring. Simone has practical tools and advice for career transitions and general resilience in life. Plus, the sessions are interactive so it's a good opportunity to meet other professionals and build your network!”
Lisa L. USA

“I participated in an online seminar of Simone (organized by Devex). As I am currently in the process of switching from employment to a freelancer career in development and impact finance, I found Simone's advice very insightful and helpful. The perspectives and tools offered in the course will be useful, I am sure, and I like how she is engaging with people, and appreciate the sincerity in her follow-ups. More of such trainings please!”

Why work with me?
I coach mission-driven international professionals like you to shine their light in this world.
I’ve already had two career changes (from private sector to international development, from global development to coaching).
I believe that career reinvention is a skill you can learn. But besides the practical skills, though, it requires stamina, resilience, and emotional and mental agility. I help my clients with both, and I want to help you too.
My credentials:
You’ll work with an experienced certified coach. I’ve 600+ hours coaching individuals from over 30 nationalities.
I’m a certified professional coach with the International Coaching Federation.
I’m a certified Strengths coach, a mental fitness coach, a Physical Intelligence (somatic) coach, and cross-cultural coach.
I’m a regular career contributor to Devex having hosted 12+ sessions to date
“I had the pleasure of working with Simone and the impact has been transformative. Before we started, I was navigating through challenges that often left me feeling unsure of my next steps, and I needed help to get out of the situation that I was in, by applying my intuition. Through her guidance, I have developed a much stronger sense of self-leadership, including increased confidence, motivation, and emotional regulation. Simone has a gift for helping you tap into your inner strength while remaining present and courageous in the face of obstacles. The shift from where I began to where I am now has been remarkable, and I owe much of my growth to her unwavering support and expertise”.

My philosophy.
This offering is based on my core beliefs as a human and my core approach as a coach:
It’s not just about landing a job but redefining what your career means in this new reality. I know your worry is about where to find your next job. But I also know this might be more than just an ordinary job search for you. Humanitarian and global development work as we know it has changed. There’s a sense of loss and uncertainty to work through.
Anxiety and frustration are natural, but they aren’t helpful guides in times of transition. Research shows that emotions shape how we think and act. Making big decisions from fear or scarcity rarely leads to good outcomes. That might feel hard to hear (or even condescending—I promise it’s not), but the good news is that we can actively shift our mindset. By working with both mind and body, we can minimise the overwhelm that clouds our judgment and well-being.
This process isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing the right things with clarity and intention. Scrolling LinkedIn in isolation only makes things harder. Instead, by taking a step-by-step approach, and exposing yourself to new ideas and people, you’ll shift your perspective and outlook. We want to help you gain momentum.
How you navigate the process, and manage your energy and attention makes all the difference. We’ll address self-doubt head-on with practical tools to quiet the inner critic and build self-trust. You’ll also develop small but impactful habits to sustain momentum—even when motivation wavers.
I firmly believe you can approach this transition with agency, regain control of your career, and find confidence in your skills – even in uncertainty.
If this doesn’t resonate, that’s okay—find the support that works for you.
But if it does, I invite you to join a cohort of forward-thinking social impact professionals for a structured 14-day experience.
“Simone's coaching became a lifeline during a time when my world felt utterly overwhelming. Juggling both personal and professional commitments, I was desperately seeking clarity and direction. Simone's guidance proved invaluable. Through insightful conversations and deep reflections, we began to unpack the knots that had me immobilized. Slowly, new possibilities, even amidst the daily whirlwind, started to bloom.”
Wairimu M., Kenya

Frequently Asked Questions
-
About two hours in the 10 days, which includes working through the workbook and attending (or listening to) the calls.
However, you might find some questions dig deeper, so I do recommend putting aside more time if you want to get the most out of this experience.
If you have less time during the week, you will be able to return to all materials and the workbook after the 10 days.
-
Yes, all live calls will be recorded and available for two weeks following the programme.
-
Commitment: How many free webinars and workshops have you signed up and never even opened the recording? Right. When you invest, you commit.
Value exchange: The spiritual reason: In his book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success (highly recommended reading) Deepak Chopra writes: “We must give and receive to keep money, or anything we want, circulating in our life”. I have known this to be true in a big way in my journey as a business owner.
Business sustainability: I’m not pulling the content magically out of a hat. This programme requires significant effort, expertise, and resources. I’m working to keep this as affordable as possible while ensuring the quality that I want to stand for in the world.
-
Over the last weeks, I have received many inquiries for coaching conversations that I have had to decline. I knew I needed a format that reaches more people practically but through my coaching lens.
This is my way of showing up for the community. I won’t do this perfectly. I will not be able to respond to every single message or comment. But I know this will increase your odds of returning to the front foot quickly.
-
I cannot tell you what will be different for you.
I can only give you insights into what people said after completing the March 2025 cohort.
Here's a few things people celebrated after the course:
"We are part of a larger group, not an island struggling through this shift myself"
"I'm rethinking and questioning old frameworks"
"That this change actually could be positive (eventually)"
"I learned ways to lean into what is possible for me!
"Really digging into clarify the things I take for granted"
"It's wonderful to have a like-minded community to be honest with."
"Confidence to change my old narratives/stories."
"Physically link to a new mentality and successfully moving forward."
"Stick-to-it-iveness."
"It's ok to take time and space to figure out what what you want."
"Learning super useful ways to manage my fears/challenges, which is so critical during this transition."
"Making progress against my plan and leaning into mini-experiments and self belief."
"I am celebrating that I am capable, confident, and resilient!"
-
No. There are plenty of resources out there offering concrete job search tips. If you're already feeling clear, and motivated, and just need tactical advice, this may not be the right fit for you. While this programme does cover practical strategies (especially in Modules 3, 4, 6), it’s designed to complement job search efforts rather than replace them.
This programme focuses on the often overlooked yet critical aspects of career transitions: mindset, decision-making, self-trust, identity, inner critic work, consistency and resiliency.
-
I’ve designed this programme for those people in mind who are considering their career in the light of the funding freezes, especially those that have lost, about to loose or fear of loosing their job soon.
This programme has a focus on processing the identity shift and the practical challenges of an (imminent) job loss and finding a way forward with agency.
The remainder of the modules are designed to help you find direction and resilience in times of change and can provide value for people in transitions more generally.
If you’re unsure if this programme is for you, send me a message (via the contact page on the website) or attend the Q&A session on 3 April.
-
This is a group experience, and it does not include individual coaching sessions.
Please read this article to understand the difference between group and 1:1 coaching.
However, I’ll be fully present during all calls and actively engaged in the Slack space to answer questions, offer guidance, and support you to the best of my abilities throughout the programme.
-
If you want individualised coaching that gives customised support, personalised feedback, and a deeper exploration of your specific issues, I invite you to consider my 1:1 coaching journeys.
-
It’s a free, easy to use community space (think MS teams channels if that is familiar to you), where you can engage with others in the group, as well as message me or others privately.
You only need to register with your e-mail. (for free).
You can access it through your browser, or download the desktop or mobile version.
Check it out on slack.com
-
I’ll facilitate the space for the length of the programme. However, if the group finds it beneficial, I’m happy to leave the space open for the community to support each other beyond the 10 days.

Join the 30-minute Q&A session on Thursday, 3 April 2025 at 2 pm UK time.

Refund Policy: You may request a full refund if you email me at simone@simoneanzboeck.com before the end of the day (PST) on Tuesday 8th April, after the programme kick-off and reviewing Module 1. No refunds or reimbursements will be provided after this deadline. Please take your time and consider your purchase carefully.
Cancellation policy: To ensure a dynamic group experience and meaningful peer-to-peer engagement, this programme requires a minimum of 12 participants. If this threshold is not met, I will process a full refund to all registered participants.

Many people can use support now, but you might be surprised that a group programme doesn’t fill that quickly - even this one at a super affordable rate for lots of value.
I'll only run another cohort based on demand. Having run the first cohort in March, I now know that it takes a good number (between 12 and 20 participants) to form a community and bring diversity in thought and experiences.
I urge you to consider joining the April cohort if you can. I cannot promise another edition.
But if you really can't make the 8th to 17th April of Your Career Reset, please enter your name and e-mail in this form.
I'll contact you if there are sufficient people interested.
